There are two main Federal Solar Incentives that apply to Solar Hot Water and Solar Heating Systems. There is a commercial solar incentive, as well as a residential solar incentive. Both types of Federal Solar Incentives are income tax credits.

SRCC Certification

The SRCC (Solar Rating Certification Corporation) is a United States entity that independently tests, rates and certifies solar hot water heating collectors and systems to ensure that consumers get the results that manufacturers are claimin in their marketing.
